The contributors to this zine reflect and build on this ever-vibrant punk heritage. In today's mediatized world the brazen and unexpected still provokes, delights, stirs. By picking up a pair of scissors, pieces of paper can be turned into a vehicle for venting political ideas, making a personal statement or threading new conceptual terrain. Do it yourself as an idea and an aesthetics continues to inspire. If you don't take it from me, take it from Arturo, who described the attitude behind his very first collage as 'essentially punk': “Do the best you can, any which way you know how, with whatever it is at your disposal – just don't let anything or anybody stop you.”
